Nick presented the appraised prices for the clubs three brass steam locomotives. Credit Valley Railway indicated that CN5125 was worth about $450.00, CP5460 worth about $450-500 and ONR503 was worth approximately $500.00. They also indicated that we could add $150 to each if the paint jobs were of a good quality. Peter suggested, and the membership agreed that the membership will be allowed to bid on each of the steamers with a reserved bid of $400.00 each. It was also agreed that the membership would be allowed to bid on the steamers at our first business meeting in the Fall; Monday October 4, 2010. It was mentioned that if the steamers are not purchased by the membership that some other means, i.e. EBay be used to sell them. Nick will provide pictures of the steamer on our web site.
